The Restaurant
The Osteria was founded immediately after the Great War, in the 1920s, in the small hamlet of Fornio, which lies practically on the border between the provinces of Parma and Piacenza.

The two rooms are finished with large wooden beams, light tablecloths, and relaxing colours. The walls are hung with a series of artworks by contemporary artists. At the entrance, you are greeted by the bar and the open kitchen.

The cellar



What is a traditional Osteria without a cellar? In the basement of the restaurant, you can make your way through the doors into a stone cellar, where Culatello, salami, and Prosciutto di Parma DOP are hung to age, surrounded by a wonderful wine collection.

This evocative space is reserved for tasting handcrafted food and exclusive bottles.

The Veranda



In the summer months, the restaurant opens out into the countryside thanks to its two large terraces, where you can savour the delicacies from the kitchen and enjoy the light breeze that comes down from the hills.
